Tenerife has as much diversity of climate and landscape as a much larger country and is often referred to as a mini-continent. It boasts wonderful beaches, a wide array of exotic flora and fauna, great pine and laurisilva forests, high mountains, volcanoes and deep ravines. It is paradise, an idyllic place to live, yet surprisingly modern at the same time.
